VIDEO OR PHONE SESSIONS (50-55 minutes)- $160/session

I generally see new clients weekly to start, but you may wish to shift to less frequent sessions (bimonthly or monthly) as you make progress. Clients may also be seen more frequently (e.g. twice a week) when clinically appropriate.

You can choose either video or phone sessions, and can switch back and forth as often as you wish. Video sessions require a strong internet connection, and both require a private place to meet. I also offer synchronous secure chat as a backup option for times when you don’t have a private place to talk, though you may prefer to simply reschedule if this happens. I reserve several time slots each week to allow clients to reschedule as needed.

[Note: clients using their insurance may wish to stick with video sessions, as most insurance plans do not cover phone or chat-based sessions.]

TEXT-BASED SUPPORT (optional add-on service)- $70/week

Clients who see me for video or phone sessions and who want additional support throughout the week can sign up for text-based support in addition to their ongoing sessions.  With text-based support, you can message me from your phone or computer at any time.  I check these messages several times a day, and I typically respond the same day (though longer messages and messages sent after 5pm may sometimes receive a response the next day).

Text-based support means you can check in right after a bad day or a rough conversation, and you don’t have to wait for your next session to debrief.  Some clients use text-based support frequently, while others use it rarely (but like knowing it’s available).

*For clients who have already completed therapy with me, text-based support may be offered as a standalone service (at a higher rate) on a case-by-case basis.  Please contact me directly if you’d like to discuss this option.

IN-OFFICE SESSIONS (in Austin, TX)- not currently available

I am not currently offering in-office sessions. Although I do plan to do so in the future, I cannot say when I will find an appropriate (and accessible) office space. If you’re interested in in-office sessions exclusively, you’ll find a checkbox on my wait list form for exactly that; just sign up and I’ll contact you when I open my office doors again.
