Your Free Consultation
Ready to get started? The first step is setting up your free consultation.
For D&D Support group applicants
For support group participants, your free consultation is a chance to:
decide if I (your facilitator/“Dungeon Master”) am a good fit for your needs
ask questions about the campaign, my DM style, or any safety concerns
learn some D&D basics (e.g. class and species options)
start conceptualizing/designing your character
To learn more about my D&D-based peer support groups, click here. You don’t need to know anything about D&D to join, and rules may be simplified to increase accessibility (e.g. for new players, brain fog sufferers, and ADHDers). Math and accents optional!
For Therapy Clients
This consultation is not a therapy session, but it gives you the chance to ask questions and to get a sense of who I am as a therapist. It also gives me a chance to make sure I’m a good fit for your needs before I start taking your money! There’s nothing more critical to therapeutic success than the fit between client and therapist; a great match can be absolutely life-changing, and the wrong one can turn someone off of therapy for years. So I want you to be matched with the right therapist, whether or not that’s me!
To schedule your free video or phone consultation, please click the button below to see my available times. Alternatively, you can set up an asynchronous text-based consultation by clicking the button below to download the Spruce Health app and connect it to my practice. Why Spruce Health? Since email is not usually secure, I prefer to use this secure app for consultations; that way if I ask how much weed you smoke, your answer isn’t sitting around in your email inbox for all eternity.
If you’re not ready for a consultation yet, but have preliminary questions about rates, scheduling, or other dealbreakers*, please use the secure contact form to reach out, or email me directly (nora@nextpagecounseling.com, non-secure), text me (512-900-2768, non-secure), or leave me a voicemail.
*Please note that I am not currently accepting any insurance plans as in-network. I do offer “superbills” for out-of-network reimbursement, in case your insurance covers this. If you’re waiting to use your insurance in-network, and would like to be notified if I ever start accepting your plan in the future, there’s an option for that on my wait list form (though I currently have no plans to rejoin insurance panels).
